Katie Beardsley is a Human Resource professional whose career has been shaped by a lifelong connection to the defense contracting world. Raised in a family deeply rooted in the industry, Katie developed an early appreciation for strong compliance, structured processes, and employee-focused service. She holds an associate's degree from MSJC, a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and is SHRM‑CP certified, reflecting her commitment to continued professional growth.

 

Before joining DEFTEC, Katie spent nearly four years with Deployed Resources, serving as a Personnel Specialist and later as a Credentialing Specialist. In these roles, she supported employees through background checks, and credentialing processes while delivering exceptional, service‑forward support. Her work extended into data entry, systems management, and high-volume operational coordination.

 

Katie brings a strong passion for rules, structure, and doing things the right way, paired with an unwavering dedication to putting employees first. She continually seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge, strengthen her impact, and contribute to a supportive, compliant, people-centered workplace.
