Kennedy Saaristo

Recruiting and Communications Manager

Serving as Recruiting and Communications Manager, Ms. Saaristo has been apart of the DEFTEC Team since June 2022. Her personal connections to the defense industry have shaped her dedication to supporting our nation’s warfighters and providing the best possible talent to ensure mission success. She works daily with senior leadership and contract managers, recruiting on positions across a variety of technical/professional fields.  Prior to joining DEFTEC, she held Marketing and HR roles with a NASA contractor.

Ms. Saaristo possesses a Master’s Degree in Professional Communication from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Bachelor’s Degree in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College.
