New Contract Award: Missile Defense Agency Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD)

As 2025 comes to an end, we are excited to announce that we are closing out the year with another contract award. DEFTEC was awarded a contract supporting the Missile Defense Agency Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling of $151B. This contract encompasses a broad range of work areas that allows for the rapid delivery of innovative capabilities to the warfighter with increased speed and agility.

This year has brought challenges and successes in equal measure for everyone in defense contracting. As we wrap up 2025 on a high note, we would like to express our profound gratitude to our customers and team members that make our core mission, providing innovative solutions to enable our country’s defensive efforts and warfighters, a consistent reality. New Contract Award: Defense Threat Reduction Agency

DEFTEC is excited to announce our recent contract award supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) as a proud subcontractor to SAIC!

New Contract Award: 432d Wing Flying Operations Support

DEFTEC is excited to announce our expanded support to the United States Air Force at Creech Air Force Base, operating as a subcontractor to B3H. Through our recent contract award, DEFTEC is providing critical weather forecasters to assist the 432d Wing in real-time combat operations. Our experts deliver comprehensive weather forecasting, generate tailored meteorological products, and advise on safety protocols to enhance mission success and combat readiness.

This contract requires 24/7 coverage, with DEFTEC’s team analyzing climatic regimes, forecasting hazardous conditions, and briefing aircrews at the start of each shift. Our forecasters support MQ-9 and RQ-170 missions, ensuring operational safety and effectiveness for both training and global contingency operations.

We are grateful for the opportunity to deepen our relationship with the USAF and B3H and continue providing mission-critical expertise to support the Air Force’s operational excellence.
